I am making a simple flyer for my mothers cleaning business but it seems that when I convert it to a .pdf (to take to a printing service) it creates a bunch of noise around the text.  Everything looks fine in the Gimp as an .xcf.

Has anyone ever converted an .xcf or .psd to .pdf and then tried to print it before?  It's bumming me out. Sad

I think that's just talking about opening .pdf's in GIMP.
I don't really need to do that right now but it could prove handy at another time.

For converting files to .pdf I use Primo PDF.
It's a neat little FREE program that acts as a virtual printer. Cool

I think I figured out what the problem is.  It's that program I was using to convert it.
I'm sure that there are some settings in there that can be tweaked to clear it up.
I've only used the program for converting .dwg's and .doc's before and those all worked fine. Huh
But anyways I just saved it as a .png and then sent it to staples and when they converted it to .pdf everything was fine.

Thanks guise...For nothing!! lol j/k Tongue
