My second comp is acting..odd

It's my daughters comp that would load then stall and I would get a long beep from the tower. Now it tries to load and the goes Blue Screen of Death. I have taken out, and moved the memory sticks around and booted with same result. Any ideas? 
I run Windows XP (with SP3), it has a AMD 3800+ dual core,   2.5gz RAM, ATI 1950xt video card,  an ASUS Socket 939 MoBo, and a 400w Power Supply I got from A.C.

Was there any short beeps after the long beep?
Long beeps are either video or mobo depending on the short beep.
Check your cables and maybe swap out the card if you have another.

Beep codes on post are specific to the bios  you have.  You can look them up on the Bios makers websites.  That should clue you in to what is going on.

Or let us know what type of BIOS you have and we can all do a collective google attack.

Well then do you have any extra RAM to swap out and try?
If you swap your RAM and it's still doing it then there's probably something wrong with the mobo, in which case you'd have to get a new one.
And I'm sure this is the first thing you checked but make sure everything's seated properly.

I go along with this one since this has happened to me. Somehow my RAM was loose and the computer had the same symptoms you are describing. It took me almost a week to figure it out.

I am not sure what motherboard you have an what bios it is.... if it is an Award BIOS... there have been many versions of the bios made and they changed their codes a couple times.

Good ideas all. I have run a scan of both Hard drives no errors. Did a registry check fixed a couple errors. Ran a mal-ware scan found some junk. The bios on the mother board I have not updated...buying another motherboard is not an option for awhile...dang it all

Here is a question on the same comp, could low power be a cause? I switched out the current video card which was an ATI 1950xt for an older Ati 850xt, and the comp seems to run fine. Is it possible that I was not getting enough power to the newer card (the older card uses less power) and it caused problems? Or do you think the problem is still there just waiting to strike again?

Ahh seems like it was the card.
I don't think it would have been acting the way it was if it was just the card not getting enough power from the PSU, with the system beeps and all.
If that were the case it would boot up but have limited functionality and crash under moderate stress...or something.
