Battlefield game= worthless

I bought Battlefield bad company 2 and it is the Most worthless piece of shit I have ever unwraped!
 First of all I put the cd in and it wont install, keeps failing as soon as it wants to load c++2005. So after hours of modifying registry codes and redownloading all service packs for windows...etc,   I finally decide to copy the whole cd to my pc and edit it so it wont load c++2005 (The solution EA gave on the site)  The game now installed fine.  I start the game, it says retrieving version,it updated, and then.............NOTHING!  Over and over I start the game, it retrieves current version and then just ends.   http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/376577.page   Note that EA does not even have a fix for this.  Never in my life, have I bought a program that I needed to develop and write in code that the developer forgot to put in.                 What a piece of Shit, end of story

Ok, have to say I had a similar problem, mine would hang and say one of the files was corrupted. The frakin brand new CD had some crud on it so I wiped it down and it finally loaded, took two hours to get it working, but haven't had any problems since. Nice EA would ship product out like that...but the game itself is not a "piece of sh.T"...get it through Steam (no CD)...

Unfortunately in the link I posted, there are people who have both a cd copy and there are those that have a digital copy, still neither will start the game for some reason. Most have been waiting for 7 days now, not being able to use a product that they paid 50 dollars for.  And there has been no word from any official acknowledging that there is a problem or that they are working on it. I did not think that another company could possibly be as bad as IWnet, but at least MW2 would start.  The only solutions some are offering, is to Buy windows 7, or wait till who knows when, if ever, they fix the issue.  In my opinion if this product requires you to modify the game cd and shell out another $140 for a new operating system, than that is BS,  Really if the game doesn't work out of the box, Than how could anyone say that the gaming exp online is "Great!" and has no Flaws?  FAKE!

Damn, Money, that sucks. I haven't had that problem but I WILL say this game has a few hiccups to fix. The friends list is shit. Find a server takes forever and a day, and they don't filter out hardcore and softcore, they just group them together. But even with that I'm still really into the game.
